We know that Arianne Witt of Lola Jagger has a keen eye for style, so when we heard she was in the throes of moving house we decided to stop by and take a little peek at how she is approaching decorating a new place. Here, she takes us on a tour of her new place and talks us through her favourite home pieces.

Photography and words by Arianne Witt of Lola Jagger.

"My partner and I have just moved into our new home, having completed renovations along the way these past few months. He and I really just wanted a light and laid-back approach to the interior, while still keeping it true to its coastal character. We stripped it back to the basics – floorboards throughout, fresh white walls and gold accents to let the homewares and furnishing do the talking."

"One of my favourite things about home is this olive green bed linen – it’s incredibly soft and a dream to sleep in. The colour complements the white and natural wood throughout our home."

"I love filling the house with fresh flowers and plant clippings so I always make sure I'm stocked up with vases. These two brushed ceramic vases are a beautiful chalk colour and add a nice textural element to the room. Weekends are for the flower markets and whether it's Baby’s Breath, Peonies or Red Roses that I bring home - these vases suit it all perfectly."

"This cosmetic bag is my go-to for travelling and is the perfect size for everything I need; beauty products, fragrance, a silky scarf and my favourite golden jewels."

"You can never have too many cushions - or at least that's what I like to tell myself! I have them lined up on the couches, on the bed, in the guest room and most importantly, in my favourite little nook of the house by the record player."

"I love the marble storage containers in the bathroom! They're got a beautiful luxe aesthetic and are a great piece for keeping the space looking uncluttered and minimalist. I use mine for storing my lipsticks, cotton buds or face wipes."
