We join Erin Maxwell along with Milla, Archie and Raff as they visit a few of their favourite places in their home of Williamstown. Here Erin shares a mini guide to her lovely portside neighbourhood, and her most-loved places to dine.

“In our quiet beachside town in a pocket of Melbourne’s west, our weekends are spent enjoying the simple things. From the beach to parks and café-hopping our way through the menus all year round, we’re spoilt for choice.”

“Milla has ballet, Archie football in the morning and Raff goes along happily with whatever is going. By lunchtime we can relax. The beauty of Williamstown is that it’s at the end of the road where you don’t pass through but come to visit or you are a local.”

A FEW OF OUR FAVOURITE PLACES

1. THE GREENERY

This is one of our favourite go-to places that the whole family loves. It has the best coffee in Williamstown and the fritters can’t be beaten.

2. SEBASTIAN BEACH BAR AND GRILL

Newly opened, Sebastian Beach Bar and Grill is a beachside bar and grill with picturesque views over the bay. Perfect for a weekend lunch or sunset cocktails.

3. HELLENIC REPUBLIC

One of Melbourne’s best. Hellenic Republic needs no introduction. Think authentic Greek recipes made with the very best produce.

4. THE KIOSK D’ASPORTO

This little beach kiosk is perfect for a quick bite with delicious Italian street food and some of the best city views.

5. BATTERBING

Can’t have a beach town without fish and chips and these are the ultimate. The haloumi salad and hand cut chips are a must!
